After reports that President Trump was considering pardoning Alice Marie Johnson, the 63-year-old woman serving a life sentence for a non-violent drug offense, Axios reports that he has commuted her sentence.
The commutation follows efforts by Kim Kardashian West to get Johnson pardoned, including meeting with Trump at the White House last week. It was reported this morning that the paperwork had been readied and Trump was considering pardoning Johnson along with several others very soon.
