Cancel Orlando Bloom. Drake is what’s up/hot/what are words even, DRAKE LOVES HARRY POTTER.
In a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Drake—singer, Canadian, and let’s be honest, Slytherin-but-still-would—disclosed that he is not just a Harry Potter fan, but he is a big Harry Potter fan…like pay-$160K-for-a-copy-of-Sorcerer’s-Stone-which-is-at-least-the-third-worst-Harry–Potter-but-yes-I-can-see-how-it’s-magical-because-it’s-the-first-one-and-also-that-description-of-Diagon-Alley Harry Potter fan. From THR:
But there’s one thing Drake is eager to discuss in depth: Harry Potter.
OMG SAME. Oh, wait, the quote is still going:
For the past four years, he has been chasing a first edition of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, and it’s finally on the market for $160,000. “Yeah, I read them all,” he says of J.K. Rowling’s series, two tiny diamonds glinting from his front teeth as he breaks into a wide smile. I tell him I’m reading the series to my kids, and he immediately peppers me with questions, “What book are you on?” “Goblet of Fire,” I respond. “What part?” Then, as if to talk himself into the purchase, he says: “I should get it. My birthday’s coming up. Maybe I’ll buy it for myself as a treat.”
CAN YOU EVEN?
There is LITERALLY nothing I want to talk more about, ever, than Harry Potter. I’m not sure why THR‘s profile is about anything besides HP, TBH (like, what part WAS the writer at? Are we talking Quidditch World Cup or Third Task?).
Anyway, point is, I’VE NEVER BEEN MORE ATTRACTED TO DRAKE, EVER.
