Kim Kardashian set the record straight, Kanye Twitter rant style, about her husband’s fashion line after some misinformation spread on Twitter last night. Verified fan account Yeezy Mafia tweeted that West’s Yeezy Season 7 wasn’t really happening. The initial tweet has been taken down, but a screenshot a fan took showed it saying, “Stockists were invited to a showroom that was empty; it was an unexpected meeting explaining that there won’t be any apparel or accessories for Season 7 as Kanye West couldn’t do what he wanted to achieve with this collection.”

Kardashian, the Yeezy season 6 star model, wasn’t having this. “How can a verified account represent Yeezy with false information,” she started in her first tweet. “You do NOT work for Yeezy and NOT affiliated. How are you gonna believe an account that posts fake color ways.” This was followed by three mocking laughing with tears emojis.

“Season 6 was genius,” she continued. “All of my Japan looks are season 7 & will be online soon. Yeezy does not play by fashion rules. The show room was strictly shoes & always intended for that.” Kardashian has been modeling West’s new collection while on her Japan trip over the last couple days. Starting with Yeezy season 6, West, instead of having a fashion week show, has used family and friends to model his collection in a series of street style photos taken by the paparazzi.

Kardashian additionally seemed to dismiss the idea that the timing of her husband’s collections has to be aligned with the traditional fashion calendar (spring/summer fashion weeks start in September; fall/winter fashion weeks start in February). This was all caps, Kanye West style: “YEEZY HAS ITS OWN UNIVERSE #SEASON7

She also told a fan she had contacted Twitter about Yeezy Mafia, though it’s not as clear whether she intends to get the account unverified, taken down, or get other Kanye West fan account TeamKanyeDaily re-verified.

Yeezy Mafia itself has deleted the offending tweet. It posted an apology and corrected the error in its initial stockroom post. “Apologize for saying showroom was empty, it wasn’t, there was boots,” they wrote. “But they were already there and already ordered at the Season 7 showroom in Milan a month ago. We didn’t use the correct words so sorry for that.”
